Is finally alive after a long morning of travel, last night I worked my “real” job at the The Score working 4-midnight and then shooting over to the airport for my 6:30am flight to Miami. Tomorrow afternoon is the start of the combine in Fort Lauderdale, if anyone has any special player requests or questions for me to ask coaches feel free to comment. I am here for my viewers and I will be trying to get the best news this week.
Now off to grab some dinner and a Natty Ice. (Even though I’m Canadian, I am still a sucker for crappy American college beer.)
The Kansas City Wizards (MLS), Columbus Crew (MLS) and A.C. St. Louis (NASL) are among the teams that sent coaches to evaluate the players at the Pro Pace Soccer Combine. Other MLS teams have requested specific reports from the event.
Two names to keep an eye out for is Seth Sinovic and Julien Edwards as they are both going to be attending the MLS SuperDraft Combine.

The combine is only days away and the
Flight leaves friday morning at 6:30 in the morning for Fort Lauderdale, so its time to release my final Mock Draft before the combine. This draft was really tough to do as I went ahead and did two full rounds. Hopefully the Generation Adidas class is capped at twelve (for my sake) just so I have all the kids on my mock draft.
With only two weeks until the MLS Draft, the final four or five names for generation adidas are starting to leak out. According to Soccer by Ives, the 2010 draft is going to include NCAA stars Corbin Bone, Ike Opara, Tony Tchani and Danny Mwagna. All four of these players have signed top level Generation Adidas contracts and will be a lock for the top 8 picks in the draft. According to Ives, Mwagna has received the highest Generation Adidas contract of all-time topping last years first overall Steve Zakuani. With the Congolese striker signing this contract, expect him to dump Opara off his thrown at the top and be the first pick in the draft. Mwagna has his sites set on Europe, but with his last second change of mind it has thrown a wrench in the MLSDraft.net’s mock draft.
UPDATE - Tony Tchani, Danny Mwagna, Andrew Wiedeman, Amobi Okugo & U17 defender Zach Herold have all officially signed Generation Adidas deals.
Corbin Bone, Sean Johnson & Ike Opara are close to signing. If this is all true then it could be the biggest Generation Adidas class of all time.
